Grants from the Council
The Town Council will consider applications for grant funding from community groups and voluntary organisations, if the following criteria are met:

The annual Malton Town Council Small Grants programme is now open for applications, the deadline for applications is Thursday 19th August 2021. Members will consider applications that meet the criteria at the Town Council Meeting due to be held on 29th September 2021.
Grant applications must not be retrospective and shall demonstrate the provision of a benefit to Malton under one or more of the following criteria:-
To contribute to the cultural life, education, sporting opportunities or general well being of the people of Malton.
To promote the economic and commercial vitality of Malton.
To support and contribute to the social life of Malton.
To preserve the unique identity of Malton and promote its heritage.
To help to create a socially inclusive and caring community and increase dialogue among our residents.
To protect and improve Malton and promote a sustainable environment.
Who can apply?
Malton Town Council will consider applications from the following properly constituted bodies:-
Clubs and societies
Voluntary bodies and associations
Non-profit making organisations
Newly formed bodies shall not be disqualified from seeking funding, but the Council may impose additional requirements for them to do so.
